How much does this cost?
The ReminderSMS is free for sending email reminders. Once you have signed up, you have the option of purchasing credits toward text messages. One credit equals one text message, and credits currently cost under $0.10 each.
What does the SMS in ReminderSMS stand for?
SMS stands for simple message service, which is the technical name for the service that allows you to receive text messages on your cell phone.
How do I sign up?
All you have to do to sign up for ReminderSMS is enter your email address below. We will email you a password that you can use to log in to the site and begin scheduling reminders.
What if my cell phone provider isn't listed? Can I still send reminders to it?
Absolutely. We support sending reminders to just about any cell phone provider. We would appreciate you letting us know who your provider is, however, so we can provide better support for them. You can either choose "other" in the account management screen and enter a provider or contact us through our feedback form.
Can I send reminders to cell phones outside the United States?
Yes. Just use your full international number and the messages should go through fine. There is no extra charge for international messages.
I'm having trouble purchasing credits through Google Checkout. Do you offer other payment methods?
We're working on integrating other payment methods into our website. For the time being, if you would like to purchase credits, then please contact us and we will either send you a PayPal invoice that you can pay via PayPal, credit card, or bank account, or we will provide a mailing address for a check or money order.
What if I have a question that isn't answered here?
We love to help our users. If anything isn't clear, please contact us and we'll get back to you. If a question you ask gets included in a future version of this FAQ, we'll give you 50 free credits towards text messages.
